The Boston Bruins' long layoff has everyone itching for the Stanley Cup Final to begin -- even the defending Super Bowl champions.
Wide receiver Julian Edelman joined several New England Patriots players Monday on Twitter showing love for the Bruins entering Game 1 of their Cup Final showdown with the St. Louis Blues at TD Garden.
Edelman's "JE11" company even designed its own T-shirt for the Cup-bound B's with the slogan "Bet Against Us" that apparently was placed in Patrice Bergeron's locker before Game 1.
Edelman also served as the Bruins' honorary banner captain earlier in the Stanley Cup Playoffs -- as did center David Andrews, who's quite excited to watch Monday night's game.
Patriots linebackers Dont'a Hightower and Kyle Van Noy seemed to share Andrews' sentiment.
Quarterback Tom Brady even offered his indirect support for the Black and Gold, doing the voiceover on Zdeno Chara's hair-raising hype video posted Monday morning.
This comes after the Patriots all rocked Bruins hats at organized team activities last week, in case you needed further proof New England is pulling hard for another Boston championship.
