Edelman has A+ response to Alabama WR modeling his game after him

Julian Edelman is keeping an eye on Alabama wide receiver Slade Bolden ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Bolden told reporters Wednesday he models his game after the ex-Patriots slot receiver. Edelman caught wind of those comments and tweeted a perfect response.

Edelman shared the popular meme of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick using binoculars, only he replaced Belichick's face with his own. Words don't really do it justice, so check it out below:

Well played, Jules.

The Patriots definitely could use a reliable wideout like Edelman to make life easier on young quarterback Mac Jones. Bolden played out of the slot with the Crimson Tide and with plenty of experience on special teams, he projects as a solid fit for New England. He also was a college roommate of Jones' during their time together at Alabama.

Bolden was one of several wideouts to meet with the Patriots at the NFL Scouting Combine. Others include his Crimson Tide teammate Jon Metchie and Arkansas standout Treylon Burks.
