Cam Newton talks Gunner Olszewski’s big game vs. the Chargers, and how the defense allowed him to make such big plays.

Gunner Olszewski found redemption Sunday.

One week after having a punt return for a touchdown called back, the New England Patriots wide receiver found paydirt again in Week 13 with a 70-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers -- and this one held up.

Olszewski's brilliant return was the Patriots' first punt return for a TD since 2014 and the highlight of the season for the Bemidji State product.

His teammates certainly loved it. Several New England players who are either injured (running back Rex Burkhead) or opted out of the 2020 season (running back Brandon Bolden, tight end Matt LaCosse and safety Patrick Chung) gave Gunner a shout-out on Twitter.

That about sums up the reaction of every Patriots fan.

Olszewski's 70-yard scamper was the fourth-longest punt return in the NFL this season and doubled New England's lead at the time to 14-0.
