A Boston Globe photographer got turned away by security at Tom Brady's Best Buddies charity event, according to The Boston Globe.
While The Globe has been able to attend the event in the past, the photographer was told “leave immediately” after attempting to enter the event. A security officer escorted the photographer to his car.
This comes after the newspaper ran a story which revealed Best Buddies will have given $3.25 million to Brady's charitable fund. The payments were made at Brady's request. The Globe reports further on how Brady's charitable fund has allocated that money from Best Buddies.
Best Buddies is a nonprofit dedicated to helping people with intellectual disabilities. The Globe photographer hoped to attend the flag football game held at Harvard Stadium, where the Patriots' Brady, Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and others were in attendance. The Patriots players competed with a number of children.
