Bruins 1, Senators 0: Talking Points

Share

Tuukka Rask enjoyed a key assist by the right post in the second period when Bobby Butler dinged a shot directly off it, but he was otherwise brilliant in a 33-save shutout performance of the Ottawa Senators. Thats two different instances on this road trip when Rask has clearly been better on the second night of consecutive starts than the firstbut it may have had something to with also playing an AHL roster of Senators in each of those back-to-back games. Either way, Rask is now 9-11-1 on the season headed toward .500 when it seemed an unlikelihood earlier this season.
