The Celtics and Raptors are expected to meet again Wednesday night, per Spears, who added the "majority" of players still want to play Game 1.
Blake, an unarmed Black man, was shot multiple times at point-blank range by a white police officer in Kenosha, Wisc., on Sunday, re-igniting protests that began earlier this year over the police killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.
Celtics teammates Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart spoke at length about Blake's shooting Tuesday, demanding action to address racial injustice and police violence. Brown said the team hadn't discussed the possibility of a boycott as of Tuesday afternoon, but apparently those conversations happened later in the day.
