The Celtics will be without their top scorer and leading rebounder tonight when they face the Nets in Brooklyn.
Kyrie Irving (23.9 points) is out with low back soreness and Al Horford (6.7 rebounds) knee soreness as Boston plays on the second night of a back-to-back after beating the Indiana Pacers 114-112 on Irving's layup with .5 seconds left Friday night.
Forward Jayson Tatum is questionable with an illness.
Coach Brad Stevens had said he would look to find spots to rest Horford in the final regular-season games (there are five left after tonight). Irving didn't appear to have any issues when he scored 30 points, including his game-winner, as the Celtics (45-31) pulled ahead of Indiana for the No. 4 seed in the East. The C's and Pacers are locked into a No. 4 vs. 5, first-round playoff series, with the higher seeded team having home-court advantage.
