The Celtics also signed and waived Reginald Kissoonlal, per Spotrac's Keith Smith.
Kissoonlal, a 6-foot-11 center who played his last two seasons in Denmark, likely will land with the Maine Celtics.
Boston will cut its roster down to 15 players ahead of their Oct. 18 season opener vs. the Philadelphia 76ers. Its final preseason game will take place Friday night vs. the Toronto Raptors.
