According to Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald, the C's have "no interest" in trading for Harden.

Harden recently declined a record-breaking $50 million per year extension with the Houston Rockets. Multiple reports have stated Harden wishes to join Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant on the Brooklyn Nets.

Meanwhile, the Celtics seem to be focused on figuring out how to proceed with Gordon Hayward. The 30-year-old had his player option deadline extended from Tuesday to Thursday and appears to be a prime sign-and-trade candidate. The Atlanta Hawks reportedly are "in play" to trade for Hayward or sign him in free agency if he declines his option.
NBA free agency is set to begin on Friday.
