The Boston Celtics fell to the Brooklyn Nets 129-120 in overtime at TD Garden on Tuesday night.
It was arguably the Celtics' worst loss of the season, and Marcus Smart was not too happy with the referees following the game, as he had to be escorted off the court during a heated conversation with the officials.

The Celtics allowed 51 points in the fourth quarter for the first time since 1972 when they allowed the Buffalo Braves to tally 58, per Celtics stat man Dick Lipe. Smart, obviously frustrated with how the game turned out, probably wasn't too happy with his team's performance in the fourth quarter.
This is also just the fourth time in Celtics' history that the team has lost a game when leading by 17-plus points after three quarters of action.
Caris LeVert was an enormous thorn in the side of the C's throughout the second half, ending the game with 51 points. The next-highest scorer for the Nets? Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot with 16 points.
Without the help of Jayson Tatum (illness), Gordon Hayward being ruled out after the first half with a right knee contusion, and Jaylen Brown sustaining a hamstring injury, the Celtics went downhill fast. Oh, and it didn't help that Kemba Walker, returning from injury, was held to a minutes restriction on Tuesday night.
If Tatum, Hayward, Walker, and Brown are out Wednesday versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and Smart receives a one-game suspension for arguing with the officials, the Celtics could be in some serious trouble.
