Here are the Stars, Studs and Duds from Boston’s 128-100 win over the New York Knicks which extended Boston’s winning streak to a season high-tying four in a row.
STARS
Kyrie Irving: The point-producing, playmaking brand of basketball we see from Kyrie Irving is becoming more of the rule rather than the exception when it comes to his game. He finished with a near double-double of 22 points on 9-for-15 shooting in addition to eight assists.
Jaylen Brown: Brown’s return from a lower back issue was impressive as he came off the bench and delivered one of his best performances this season. Brown led the second unit with 21 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the field.
STUDS
Tim Hardaway Jr.: He led the Knicks with 22 points but did so on 7-for-19 shooting from the field.

Al Horford: After a slow start, Al Horford soon heated up to deliver a strong double-double performance with 19 points and 12 rebounds to go along with four blocks and three assists.
Jayson Tatum: Like most of the Celtics, Jayson Tatum was also extremely efficient shooting the ball for Boston. He had 17 points on 7-for-11 shooting in addition to grabbing five rebounds to go with two steals.
Terry Rozier: One of the best rebounding guards in the NBA a year ago, Terry Rozier reminded us why on Thursday night. In addition to scoring 11 points with four assists, Rozier also had seven rebounds.
DUDS
Injury bug: It seems the Boston Celtics just can’t get right when it comes to keeping guys healthy. On the night that Jaylen Brown returns to the lineup, they lose Aron Baynes after less than two minutes of action with a left ankle sprain in the first quarter.
