Isaiah Thomas left his mark on the city of Boston, and he thinks that the love with fans will always be there

Isaiah Thomas has big plans for Wednesday night's game against his former team.

The former Boston Celtics star will take the floor at TD Garden as a starter for the Washington Wizards. While Thomas emphasizes "it's all love" between him and Boston, he sees himself having a huge game vs. the organization that traded him for Kyrie Irving two years ago.

"I visualize that. Going for 50 on them," Thomas told reporters on Monday.

"That's the plan, and to win the game."

Celtics-Magic recap: C's clinch series with Game 5 rout

C's overcoming 3-point woes is great sign for title chances

Considering how much of a beloved figure I.T. is in Boston, Celtics fans probably wouldn't mind seeing him put on a show as long as the final result is a C's victory.

Thomas and the 2-6 Wizards will have their work cut out for them, though, as Boston rides an eight-game win streak into the contest. It should be a fun one on Wednesday night, so be sure to tune into NBC Sports Boston at 7:00 p.m. ET for all of your C's-Wizards coverage.

Don’t miss NBC Sports Boston's coverage of Celtics-Wizards, which tips off Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. ET with Celtics Pregame Live, and then Mike & Tommy have the call of the game at 7:30 p.m. You can also stream the game through the MyTeams App.
