It's been a rough stretch for the Boston Celtics, to say the least. But they finally gave fans something to cheer about with a win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.
It didn't look promising early on. The C's quickly went down 14 points before finally waking up and staging a comeback. They ended up outscoring the Pacers in the first quarter and didn't look back, though they did make it interesting in the fourth.
Kemba Walker made a statement with a game-high 32 points to go with six assists. While Jaylen Brown (15 points) and Jayson Tatum (nine points) were relatively quiet, the Celtics bench stepped up in a big way. Guards Jeff Teague and Payton Pritchard contributed 14 and nine points respectively, and big man Robert Williams chimed in with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks.
