BOSTON -- Here are the Stars, Studs and Duds from Boston’s 126-120 win over the Sacramento Kings.
STARS
Kyrie Irving: As usual, the buckets came in waves for Kyrie Irving who led the Celtics with a triple-double of 31 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. The assists were especially impressive considering a number of them came off of Irving making hustle plays like the one below.

Buddy Hield: This was one of those games in which Buddy Hield was not just scoring, but doing so in an extremely efficient manner as he led all scorers with 34 points on 14-for-24 shooting.

STUDS
Jaylen Brown: It was Jaylen Brown’s scoring in the third quarter that really swung the game’s momentum in Boston’s favor. He led all bench players with 22 points, nine of which came in the third quarter.
Harrison Barnes: No one was more efficient shooting the ball than Harrison Barnes who had 20 points on 7-for-12 shooting.
Marcus Morris: It looked like it would be another rough night for Morris who got better as the game progressed. He would finish the night with a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds while shooting a solid 7-for-15 from the field.
De’Aaron Fox: This kid is going to be really, really good paired up with Buddy Hield to form one of the most explosive young backcourts in the NBA. Fox had a near triple-double on Thursday, tallying 19 points to go with nine assists and seven rebounds.
DUDS
Sacramento free throw shooting: The Boston Celtics can thank the Kings’ poor free throw shooting for keeping the game from getting too far away from them which paved the way for their comeback. The Kings, ranked 27th in the NBA in free throw percentage (.722) coming into Thursday night’s game, was 13-for-23 from the line against Boston.
