As the NBA world mourns the shocking death of Kobe Bryant, it continues to find ways to honor the Los Angeles Lakers legend.
Multiple players have considered changing jersey numbers out of respect for Bryant, who wore Nos. 8 and 24 in his illustrious NBA career. Some have already taken action, with Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie switching from No. 8 to No. 26, Terrence Ross guard changing from No. 8 to No. 31, and Los Angeles Clippers forward Moe Harkless going from No. 8 to No. 11.
Kemba Walker, who also wears No. 8, was asked Tuesday night after the Boston Celtics' win over the Miami Heat whether he'll follow suit.

"I'm considering it," Walker said. "But, you know, I'm not sure yet. I definitely have tons of respect for Kobe. But everyone mourns a little bit different. For me, I'm thinking I would love to honor him by wearing that number.
"Kobe played hard each and every night, and I would like to honor him by doing the same. So, I'm definitely thinking about it, but we'll see."

While it's a wonderful gesture by NBA players switching numbers, Walker makes a solid point. Another great way to honor Bryant is by utilizing the "Mamba Mentality" and matching his tenacity game in and game out.
There's no doubt Walker would make Bryant proud.
