Four wins, three losses, and the emergence of a star, but the Celtics are still trying to find their identity early in the season.
Celtic fans know Jaylen Brown has been on fire this season. But in the NBA's eyes, it still wasn't enough for him to be named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
That's right. Despite a week in which Brown scored 29.5 points per game on 67.1 percent shooting (51.9 percent on three-pointers), along with 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.0 steals per game, the C's wing wasn't recognized for his efforts by the NBA.
Instead, that honor went to the Sixers' Tobias Harris, who helped Philly to a 3-0 record by averaging 23.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists on 57.1 percent shooting (56.3 percent on threes).

Pistons coach Dwane Casey has special praise for Brown, Tatum
Both Brown and Jayson Tatum (23.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 5.3 apg) were nominees for the award but came up short.
So, how did C's fans take the news on Twitter? As you can guess, not well.
Brown's next chance to build on his blistering start to the season comes Monday night in Tampa, where the Celtics will take on the Raptors.
