Just because Kyrie Irving isn't coming to Boston on Wednesday night doesn't mean Celtics fans are letting him off the hook.
The Brooklyn Nets star will miss Wednesday's game against the Celtics at TD Garden due to a shoulder injury, which many C's fans saw as a convenient excuse to avoid hearing a chorus of boos from the fanbase he alienated this offseason.
But Celtics fans have found another way to express their feelings about Irving. Check out the sign someone plastered on a street post outside TD Garden on Wednesday:
That's a pretty harsh sign, and one that drew the attention of former Celtics big man and ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins.

While Enes Kanter didn't put up this sign, the Celtics big man did admit on "The Enes Kanter Show" he's "disappointed" Irving can't make the trip for Wednesday's game.

Kanter's teammates were more diplomatic about Irving's no-show, as Jaylen Brown said simply, "We'll catch him next time."
That "next time" could come Friday, as the Celtics travel to Brooklyn for the second leg of a home-and-home series.
