Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy shared an encouraging update Wednesday on David Pastrnak as the Boston forward rehabs recovers from a September hip procedure.
Apparently Pastrnak is doing that rehab in Sweden -- because the 24-year-old made a cameo Friday on the broadcast of a Swedish hockey game.

There's a lot going on here, so let's break it down: That's Pastrnak trying his hand as a sideline reporter during a game between Södertälje Sportklubb and Modo Hockey of HockeyAllsvenskan, the second-highest professional hockey league in Sweden.
Pastrnak lobs a few softballs at Södertälje SK forward Lucas Carlsson, then watches as the club scores on the power play 30 seconds later.

If you're wondering what Pastrnak is doing at a second-tier hockey game in Sweden, he spent two seasons with Södertälje SK from 2012 to 2014 before joining the Bruins' AHL affiliate in Providence in 2014.

Pastrnak spoke about the fond memories he has playing in Sweden in a longer interview with C More Sport's broadcasters.
The NHL is targeting a Jan. 1 start to the 2021 season, so Pastrnak has a few more weeks to enjoy life overseas before returning to the U.S. for the upcoming campaign.
