David Pastrnak talks about the Bruins’ impressive start to the season and explains why building confidence now will help them later on in the season
One of the traits of all great teams is the ability to win games even when you don't play your best, and that's what the Boston Bruins showed Saturday night.
The Bruins did not play well over the first two periods against the Buffalo Sabres. But like we've seen from the B's all season, they played phenomenal in the third period and secured a 3-1 victory at KeyBank Center. The Bruins have now scored 23 goals with seven allowed in the third period this season.
Saturday's win improves the Bruins' record to 13-2, which represents the team's best start in 92 years. The Bruins are tied with the Vegas Golden Knights for the most points in the NHL standings with 26.

Patrice Bergeron led the B's comeback with two goals, including the game-tying tally on the power play with 1:09 remaining in the second period.
After defenseman Jakob Zboril scored his first career goal to put the Bruins ahead 2-1 in the third period, Bergeron doubled his team's advantage with his second tally of the night. David Pastrnak showed impressive hand-eye coordination to bat the puck down to the ice and make a spinning pass to Brad Marchand, who found Bergeron to set up the goal.
Keith Kinkaid made his first start as a Bruins goalie and made 30 saves on 31 shots, including this awesome stop in the third period.
The Bruins will be right back in action Sunday night when they host the Vancouver Canucks at TD Garden.
