David Pastrnak set a personal best during Tuesday's night's Boston Bruins vs. Montreal Canadiens game.
In the latter stages of the first period, Pastrnak scored a goal just five seconds into a Bruins power play. The goal, as seen below via the NHL on NBC Twitter account, marked the 13th consecutive game in which Pastrnak had logged a point, setting a new career-high.
Pastrnak had previously tied a career-high point streak with an assist on Brad Marchand's first goal against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday. But now, 13 represents his best mark.
So far this season, Pastrnak has been the best scorer in the NHL. He leads the league in goals (15) and points (30) and has posted a five-assist game this season as well. In short, he's playing some of the best hockey of his career.
The Bruins may need Pastrnak to come through again if they want to win in Montreal. Though his goal tied the game at 1-1, the Canadiens scored twice in rapid succession to regain the lead. After one period, the Bruins are trailing their rival 3-1.
