It didn't take David Pastrnak long to make some history in his return to the Boston Bruins' lineup.
With a goal and an assist in his return following a nine-game absence, Pastrnak became just the 16th player in franchise history to reach 500 points with the team, joining current teammates Patrice Bergeron (973) and Brad Marchand (788) in the rarified air.
But Pastrnak is in even more exclusive company when it comes to just how quickly he reached 500 career points.

SIGN UP HERE Playing in his 508th game for the Black and Gold, Pastrnak became the third-fastest player in the 97-year history of the Bruins to reach 500 points, behind only a pair of icons enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Pastrnak, 25, has reached 500 points for the Bruins in fewer games than any other forward. Two of the greatest defensemen to ever play the game in Bobby Orr and Ray Bourque are the only B's to get to the milestone faster.
Pastrnak remains 1,006 points behind Bourque for the franchise's all-time lead, a testament to just how durable and consistent Bourque was over 21 seasons for the Bruins.

It'll be a challenge for Pastrnak -- or anyone -- to challenge Bourque's mark of 1,506 points, but so long as he stays healthy, Pastrnak has a great chance to reach 1,000 points for the Bruins, something only three players have done.
