There will be no arbitration for Danton Heinen and the Bruins after all.
The B's signed Heinen to a two-year contract extension on Tuesday night, avoiding an arbitration hearing that had been scheduled to take place on Aug. 3.
The contract will have an annual NHL cap hit of $2.8 million.
Heinen and Peter Cehlarik were the only two arbitration-eligible Bruins players this offseason. Cehlarik signed a one-year, two-way deal for $700,000 earlier this week.
