The Boston Bruins got off to a somewhat sluggish start, but they were able to pull away from the Buffalo Sabres and earn their second straight win Thursday night.

With Sean Kuraly out due to COVID-19 protocols, Greg McKegg stepped in and scored his first Bruins goal to put Boston on the board first. Kyle Okposo evened it up for Buffalo, but the B's added three unanswered goals from Jake DeBrusk, Craig Smith, and David Pastrnak to seal the victory and hand the Sabres their 13th straight loss.
