The Boston Bruins laid a beatdown on the Washington Capitals in more ways than one Friday night.
After Caps winger Tom Wilson forced B's defenseman out of the game with a dirty headshot, Boston responded with four goals to cruise to a 5-1 victory. Brad Marchand (two goals), Trent Frederic, Patrice Bergeron, and Nick Ritchie each scored in the win.
Adding injury to insult, both Jarred Tinordi and Trent Frederic made Wilson pay for his antics in a pair of bouts.
