The physicality between the Boston Bruins and New York Islanders to begin Game 4 of their second-round playoff series Saturday night was immense.
Tensions boiled over 7:28 into the first period at Nassau Coliseum when Bruins forward Taylor Hall and Islanders defenseman Scott Mayfield dropped their gloves for a fight. These two players got tangled up in the corner just prior to agreeing to fight.

This fight was Hall's first as a Bruins player and his first with any team since 2011.
A few minutes later, a fight between Islanders forward Matt Martin and B's defenseman Jarred Tinordi erupted (watch it here). Tinordi had laid a hard hit on Islanders center Mathew Barzal just prior to his exchange with Martin.
Martin is one of the most experienced fighters in the league and a true heavyweight. Tinordi held his own, though, and his teammates showed their appreciation.
The Bruins entered Game 4 with a 2-1 series lead.
