For the second consecutive week, the Boston Bruins are having at least one game postponed.
The NHL announced on Monday afternoon that they were postponing several games involving the Buffalo Sabres, Minnesota Wild, and New Jersey Devils as a result of the league's COVID protocols. That includes the Bruins' Feb. 15 contest against the Devils, according to the NHL's official Twitter account.

The B's already had a two-game home series against the Sabres postponed due to the league's COVID protocols. As a result, the Bruins are in the midst of a five-day layoff and won't play again until Wednesday against the New York Rangers. They'll face another five-day layoff after their game against the New York Islanders on Saturday because of the most recent postponement.
The postponements are also contributing to an extended streak of time away from home for the Bruins. The team last played in the TD Garden during a 4-1 win over the Penguins on Jan. 28. Now, they won't be in action on their home ice until Feb. 18 when they take on the Devils. They will have played seven road games between those home contests (provided that no further games are postponed).
Despite all the scheduling quirks, the Bruins have still racked up 18 points in 11 games and are tied for the East division lead. Eventually, they'll have a chance to build on that with a long homestand -- depending on when their postponed games take place.
