Canada has the most talented and deepest pool of players, but that doesn't make selecting its roster an easy task. With so many good players to choose from at each position, a lot of stars will be left out.

B's center Patrice Bergeron, who has represented Canada quite a bit in his career -- including Olympic gold medal wins in 2010 and 2014 -- absolutely should return. Bergeron's left winger on Boston's top line, Brad Marchand, should be an easy selection. Marchand has scored above a point-per-game level in each of the last four seasons for the Bruins, and he's on pace to do so again this year.
One projection from Thomas Drance of The Athletic has a Canadian second line of Marchand at left wing, Sidney Crosby at center and Bergeron at right wing. That trio would be a lot of fun to watch for Bruins fans.
