As promised, 2K Games has updated its NBA 2K18 cover with Kyrie Irving in his new Celtics No. 11 uniform.
In August, 2K Games had released a cover with Irving in a Cleveland Cavaliers uniform. After the trade of Irving to the Celtics, in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and first-round and second-round draft picks, they promised a revise. A week after the trade was finalized, they delivered.
NBA 2K18 will be released Sept. 19 with Irving in his Cavs uni on the cover, but eventually, the cover change will be made at a later date.
