Raiders signed CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson, formerly of the Falcons.
The 31-year-old is a former third-round pick of the Titans who never developed into a starter on defense and has settled in as a special teamer after spending the last five seasons with Atlanta. Wreh-Wilson has 75 games of experience under his belt.

  • FA Defensive Back #36
Falcons signed CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson to a one-year deal.
Wreh-Wilson took a significant step forward as a defensive player in 2019. He eclipsed 300 snaps on defense for the first time since 2015 and recorded 7 PBUs over 14 games (2 starts). He’ll add depth to the Atlanta secondary while also playing a role on special teams.
  • FA Defensive Back #36
Falcons signed CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson to one-year contract extension.
Wreh-Wilson was headed for free agency. At this stage of this career, the 29-year-old UConn alum is mainly a special-teamer. He logged just 30 defensive snaps in 2018.
  • FA Defensive Back #36
Titans signed No. 70 overall pick CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson to a four-year contract.
First-rounder Chance Warmack is now the Titans’ lone unsigned draft pick. Standing in at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, Wreh-Wilson ran a 4.53 40-yard dash at the Combine to go along with a 36-inch vertical leap and 10-foot-8 broad jump. Despite his solid measurables, Wreh-Wilson wasn’t an elite play-maker at UConn, and has a bit of an injury history. He won’t start as a rookie, but could eventually develop into a No. 2 corner.

TFY Draft Insider’s Tony Pauline “continues to hear” Connecticut CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson will be a late first-round pick.
Wreh-Wilson is coming in a bit under the radar, but turned in a strong Combine to go along with ideal size (6-foot-1, 192 pounds). Wreh-Wilson is also considered solid between-the-ears, but has a bit of an injury history, and isn’t a top-flight playmaker. His overall résumé is more round two than day one.
  • FA Defensive Back #36
Titans selected Connecticut CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson with the No. 70 overall pick.
It’s the third UConn player to go in the last seven picks. Wreh-Wilson (6-foot 3/4, 195) made 39 starts at UConn, recording eight career interceptions and returning two for touchdowns. He ran 4.53 at the Combine with a 36-inch vertical and 10-foot-8 broad jump. A long, lanky corner with some stiffness, Wreh-Wilson is considered a high-character prospect who is willing in run support. He has the potential to grow into a solid No. 2 cornerback.
  • FA Defensive Back #36
The Jets worked out free agent CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson.
Wreh-Wilson was cut from Tennessee after three ineffective seasons. He would provide some depth with Dee Milliner landing on I.R. The Jets also worked out free agent OG Kristjan Sokoli.
  • FA Defensive Back #36
Titans released/waived CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson, S Lamarcus Brutus, OG Will Campbell, WR Donte Foster, LB Amarlo Herrera, WR Reece Horn, LB Deiontrez Mount, CB Tyler Patmon, OG Nick Ritcher, DL Ropati Pitoitua, and DE Mike Smith.
Wreh-Wilson was an 11-game starter in 2014, but not an effective one, getting burned relentlessly. He will be missed in DFS, however. It’s never a good sign when a multi-year veteran gets cut loose at this juncture of camp.
  • FA Defensive Back #36
Free agent CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson worked out for the Lions on Tuesday.
Wreh-Wilson worked out alongside fellow DBs Jimmy Wilson and Demetrius McCray. Released by the Titans in August, Wreh-Wilson worked out for the Jets a week ago.
  • FA Defensive Back #36
    Falcons signed CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson.
The Falcons have also signed C Trevor Robinson. One of the league’s worst regularly-used defensive backs the past three seasons, Wreh-Wilson will provide depth behind Robert Alford, Brian Poole and Jalen Collins for a team that just lost No. 1 CB Desmond Trufant.
