Dolphins signed Minnesota OG Blaise Andries.
Andries (6’6/311) turned into a four-year starter and two-time All-Big 10 third-teamer after arriving from the same small Minnesota high school that produced Trey Lance. Andries started at every position on the offensive line except for center. In addition to his ideal frame and multi-position versatility, Andries is a fabulous athlete that posted a 98th-percentile relative athletic score during pre-draft testing. You see that athleticism when he’s asked to pull or block linebackers. Andries has a tendency to play high, however, which, in conjunction with his lack of high-end power, can get him pushed into the backfield by powerful defensive tackles. He’s an interesting developmental prospect for a zone-blocking scheme.
