Frances Tiafoe’s upset of Rafael Nadal was the biggest story Monday at the U.S. Open. The American’s four-set victory puts him (-135) in the Quarterfinals Wednesday against Andrey Rublev (+106). For the women, top-seeded Iga Swiatek dropped her first set to Julie Niemeier before taking the next two sets and advancing to the quarterfinals. Swiatek (-250) will take on Jessica Pegula (+190). The other women’s singles match Wednesday pits Karolina Pliskova (-105) against Aryna Sabelenka (-120).
Tuesday brings with it the other half of the Round of 16 for both the women and men. Ons Jabeur (-230) takes on Ajla Tomljanovic (+175) followed by Coco Gauff (+106) against Carolina Garcia (-135). For the men, Matteo Berrettini (+100) is set to battle Casper Ruud (-125) and Nick Kyrgios (-500) will take on Karen Khachanov (+340).
