Mobley will sit out the second leg of this back-to-back, and he will be joined by Donovan Mitchell (groin), while James Harden (thumb) is questionable. Jaylon Tyson and Sam Merrill should step into the starting unit, with another spot potentially up for grabs. Jarrett Allen should also see a bump in production as the only big in the starting unit.

Chet Holmgren (back) is doubtful to play against the Pistons on Wednesday.

Holmgren played through back spasms on Tuesday, but he is expected to miss the second leg of this back-to-back. Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) has already been ruled out, which means Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams should both see a bump in minutes and have a chance to start.

Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) has been ruled out against the Pistons on Wednesday.

Hartenstein logged 26 minutes in Tuesday’s win, and now he will sit out the second leg of OKC’s back-to-back. Jaylin Williams should get the start at center with Hartenstein sidelined and Chet Holmgren (back) listed as doubtful.

Poeltl missed Tuesday’s game against the Thunder, but he will be available for the second leg of this back-to-back. His return should push Collin Murray-Boyles back to the bench after he started against OKC.

Jalen Suggs (back) is questionable to play against the Rockets on Thursday.

Suggs has missed the last three games for Orlando and is in danger of making it four straight absences. Tristan da Silva has started the last three games in his stead and has averaged 10.3 points and 5.7 rebounds during this stretch. He’ll hold some upside if Suggs remains out.
Deandre Ayton

Deandre Ayton recorded 21 points (8-of-11 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), 14 rebounds, one steal and one block in Tuesday’s loss to the Magic.

Ayton was excellent during the first half, putting up 17 points and nine rebounds as the Lakers made a concerted effort to involve the 7-footer offensively. That didn’t happen as often during the second half, and while Ayton finished with a solid stat line, it could have been better. And that’s been an issue throughout the season, which has limited Ayton’s fantasy value. The Lakers end Week 18 with three games over the final four days, starting with the Suns on Thursday.
Paolo Banchero

ORL Forward #5

Paolo Banchero finished Tuesday’s win over the Lakers with 36 points (12-of-22 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), 10 rebounds, six assists and two three-pointers.

Banchero enjoyed one of his most productive nights of the season on Tuesday, and he was at his best during the third quarter. The Magic forward scored 17 points in the period, shooting 6-of-7 from the field. The 36 points were one shy of Banchero’s season-high, and he’s scored 30 or more in seven games. Banchero and the Magic head home for their final two games of Week 18, starting with the Rockets on Thursday.
Jaden McDaniels

MIN Forward #3

Jaden McDaniels lit up the Trail Blazers with 29 points (12-of-16 FGs), six rebounds, two assists, three steals, five blocks and five three-pointers on Tuesday.

McDaniels has been excellent all season, and this was another big-time performance for him. Not only did he have a strong night as a scorer, but he also contributed eight defensive stats in the win. This was only the second time in NBA history that a player finished with at least three steals, five blocks and five three-pointers, with Brook Lopez achieving those marks in a game in 2024. McDaniels has provided top-20 value in nine-category leagues over the past two weeks.
Anthony Edwards

MIN Guard #5

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 34 points (11-of-27 FGs, 7-of-10 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, two steals, five three-pointers and five turnovers in a 124-121 win over the Trail Blazers on Tuesday.

Edwards got off to a scorching hot start to this game, entering the break with 25 points. However, he went ice-cold in the second half and wasn’t able to add to what could have been a monster night for him. It ended up being an inefficient shooting night, but he also has 12 turnovers over his last two games. He’ll look to clean that up against the Clippers on Thursday.
