Titans vs Colts Prediction: Odds, Expert Picks, Projected Starting QB, Injury News, Betting Trends and Stats

NFL Week 16 preview: Titans vs. Colts
Simms and Florio both think a motivated Tennessee Titans squad can pick up a road win over the Indianapolis Colts in NFL Week 16 -- but which of them is actually picking it to happen?

The race for the AFC South is dwindling as the Titans and Colts scrape bye in an attempt to chase down the Texans.

Indianapolis is 6-8 and alternated wins and losses over the last four games. With the Titans, Giants, and Jaguars over the final three games, the Colts have an opportunity to finish above .500. The Colts are currently on the bubble at No. 8 overall in the AFC. With a win, the Colts have a 11% chance of the postseason compared to 1% with a loss.

The Titans are 3-11 and vying for the worst record in the NFL. Tennessee has lost three straight games and eight of the past 10 contests. Tennessee is back to Mason Rudolph at quarterback and will face all AFC South opponents to close the season.

NBC Sports Bet Best Bet

Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) likes Jonathan Taylor to score a touchdown against Tennessee:

“Jonathan Taylor has had back-to-back big games of 96 and 107 rushing yards against Denver and New England. He caught one touchdown in that span and only has one score in the last six games, but I think that can change against Tennessee.

Taylor has only played the Titans once in the last two seasons and with motivation for a last-minute playoff push for the Colts, I expect Taylor to see a hefty workload. The Titans have one of the bottom-10 rushing defenses in the NFL, so give me Taylor to score a touchdown at -125 odds.”
