Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys Preview:
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 8-6 and have a one-game lead in the NFC South. They are coming off a massive win in LA against the Chargers. It was a game where the Buccaneers were firing on all cylinders. They eclipsed the 40-point mark for the second time this season.
Not only was Baker Mayfield on top of his game, throwing for 288 yards and four touchdowns, Mike Evans was very impressive. He hauled in nine catches for 159 yards and two touchdowns. For Evans to continue his streak of 10 consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. For Evans to tie Jerry Rice’s record of 11 straight seasons of 1,000 yards, he needs 252 yards over his next three games.
A match-up with the Dallas Cowboys might help Evans get closer to that feat. The Dallas Cowboys are giving up the seventh most receiving yards to wide receivers this season at just a little over 157 yards per game. That likelihood that Evans pops is much higher given the fact that CB Jourdan Lewis is questionable and CB Trevon Diggs is out.
Stopping Evans won’t be the only priority for the Cowboys. They must tighten up their run defense, which was one of the worst in the league. However, in the last three games, they are one of the best run defenses in the league.

NBC Sports Bet Best Bets: NBC Sports analyst Brad Thomas (@MrBradThomas) recommends betting on Mike Evans over 65.5 receiving yards…
Thomas: “While the Cowboys will likely get some pressure on Baker Mayfield with that elite pass rush, they will likely give up big gains to Evans.
Let’s use Jalen Coker for example. He was able to take the top off the defense on a big touchdown catch last week. The game prior Ja’Marr Chase had multiple deep catches. Even Malik Nabers went for eight and 69 with Drew Lock under center.
Although Evans has mentioned not caring about the record, Mayfield said that he wants to get the record for him. Given the Cowboy’s injuries in the secondary and how frequently they have been beaten over the top, I like Evans a lot this weekend.”
