The Rams travel across the country in a must-win situation against the Jets.
Los Angeles is 8-6 on the year and sits atop the NFC West with the Seahawks (8-6), Cardinals (7-7), and 49ers (6-8) all nipping at the Rams’ heels. Los Angeles has won three straight and four of the last five games as the offense continues to get healthier. After this road contest at the Jets, the Rams welcome the Seahawks and Cardinals to Los Angeles to wrap up the season.
The Rams currently have a 57% chance to make the playoffs and that drops to 45% if they lose to the Jets and 65% if L.A. beats New York.
New York sits at 4-10 on the season and is coming off a 32-25 victory in Jacksonville. After back-to-back road games in Florida, the Jets are back home in cold weather for this matchup. All three of the Jets’ remaining games are against playoff opponents or hopefuls in the Rams, Bills, and Dolphins so the road to a top-five pick is back on following the win versus Mac Jones and the Jaguars.

Game odds for Rams vs. Jets
The latest odds as of Saturday courtesy of DraftKings:
Moneyline: Los Angeles Rams (-162), New York Jets (+136)
Spread: Rams -3 (-110)
Total: 46.5
The opening spread of Rams -3 has bounced back and forth between -3 and -3.5 and that isn’t expected to change. The total reached as high as 47.0 but hasn’t dipped below 46.5, so this could be one of the sharper lines in Week 16.
NBC Sports Bet Best Bet
Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) likes Aaron Rodgers to go Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns against the Rams:
“Aaron Rodgers tossed three touchdown passes against the Jaguars last week but has a much tougher challenge when the Rams fly across the country.
While Rodgers has eight touchdowns to one interception over the last four games, this seems like an ideal spot to fade Rodgers as the Rams’ defense has looked great and L.A. is motivated to win the NFC West.
Rodgers has thrown at least two touchdowns in nine of 14 games, so this prop being juiced -130 to the Under is sketchy but in the way that I like. Give me Rodgers Under 1.5 passing touchdowns at -130 odds.”
