Las Vegas Raiders at New Orleans Saints Prediction: Odds, Best Bets, Player News, Injuries, & Stats for Week 17

Brady's AP Awards vote is a conflict of interest
Given his roles in the Raiders' front office and the broadcasting booth, Mike Florio explains why Tom Brady holding an AP Awards vote is a "ridiculous" conflict of interest.

Las Vegas Raiders at New Orleans Saints Preview:

The 3-12 Las Vegas Raiders and the 5-10 New Orleans Saints have been eliminated from playoff contention. The remainder of their season will only determine how high their pick will be in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Last week, the Raiders beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 19-14 to snap their 10-game losing streak. Aidan O’Connell gave a strong performance, and Brock Bowers put on another dazzling show.

The Saints lost on Monday Night Football to the Green Bay Packers. The Packers were all over them from start to finish. The 34-0 loss marked the Saints’ second straight loss and the first time they had been shut out since 2022.

Unfortunately, no revenge game against his former team for Derek Carr. Carr is doubtful for this game with a hand injury.

Given the injury issues for the Saints, the Raiders are a -1.5-point favorite for this game.

NBC Sports Bet Best Bets:

NBC Sports analyst Brad Thomas (@MrBradThomas) is leaning toward Raiders moneyline..

Thomas: “While the changes throughout the season have been significant for both teams, the Raiders have lived in their new norm for a longer period. They are settling in with the players they have available and making the most of what the season has given them. The Saints’ injury issues seemingly change each week. Now without Alvin Kamara, they turn to an inexperienced running back to fill a massive workload.”
