Question #1: Where will NBC’s Thanksgiving Day game be played?
Possible Answers: Indianapolis, Baltimore, Minnesota, San Francisco
NBC’s game has traditionally been the night game. That statement can be made with some certainty. Beyond that is at best an educated guess. Detroit often plays a division rival in the early window. That means Kirk Cousins and Minnesota is out. Dallas will play the 4P game and is slated to play Indianapolis at some point this season. Cross Matt Ryan and the Colts off the NBC list of potential teams for Thanksgiving. That leaves two teams from which to choose: The Baltimore Ravens and Trey Lance and the San Francisco 49ers. These two teams are not slated to play at any point this season, so it is time to guess. For those who have taken the SATs, they always told you to guess if you could narrow it down to two possible answers. It is the late game on Thanksgiving, so the 49ers are the choice.
Suggested Answer: The San Francisco 49ers will host the NBC game on Thanksgiving.

Question #2: Who will be the home team for Sunday Night Football in Week 2?
Potential Answers: Dallas, Green Bay, Tampa Bay, Cincinnati
This entire article is somewhat an educated guess but primarily pure conjecture. There are storylines and stars within each of the possible selections. Dak Prescott and Dallas helped open the season in 2021 playing in Tampa against Tom Brady last season. For that reason, both the Cowboys and Bucs are out of the running to host Sunday Night Football in Week 2. Green Bay would be the fun choice if the forecast was calling for single digit temperatures that day…but it is not expected to even be cool that weekend let alone frigid. Put the Packers to the side. That leaves the Cincinnati Bengals – the darlings of the NFL. Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and the Jungle show up and show off on Sunday Night and Week 2.
Suggested Answer: The Cincinnati Bengals will be the home team for Sunday Night Football in Week 2.
Question #5: What week will the Bears first play the Packers?
Potential Answers: Week 2, Week 6, Week 9, Week 11
The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers have been lining up against each other in the NFL since 1921. They played in Chicago in that first meeting. In total, the two rivals have faced each other 194 times including two postseason games. In 2021, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers played Justin Fields and the Bears in Weeks 6 and 14. The 2020 season saw the rivals battle in Weeks 12 and 17. Weeks 1 and 15 were home to their clashed in 2019. They were all Packers’ wins by the way. Week 11 seems late for these two to renew acquaintances for the first time this season. History has shown Week 9 is a possibility, but it feels too late. Week 6 could work but the more likely outcome is Week 2. The NFL starts the season with two rivals squaring off and they do it at Soldier Field.
Suggested Answer: The Chicago Bears first play the Green Bay Packers in Week 2.
