After years of rumors of a quarterback coming to Denver to make them a serious contender again, it finally happened. Earlier today, the official report came out that the Broncos had reached a deal to acquire the 33-year old and Super Bowl Champion Russell Wilson.
In ten seasons as the Seahawks starting QB, Wilson’s build was that of a Super Bowl Champion who’s reaching that illustrious Hall-of-Fame career. Interestingly enough, it was a decade ago that the Broncos pulled off a similar move when they acquired future Hall-of-Famer Peyton Manning. Manning concluded his four seasons in Denver with a championship in Super Bowl 50. The hope for Denver is that Wilson will come to do the same thing Manning did.

It won’t be an easy task for the Broncos to win it all though. PointBets has Denver with the third shortest odds to win the AFC Title behind the Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. The Broncos AFC Title odds shifted from +1300 to +650 after the deal was announced.
