On the latest episode of Bet the Edge, Jay Croucher and Drew Dinsick preview what to expect in the Week 8 MNF game between the Cincinnati Bengals (-3) and Cleveland Browns. The pair also break down their biggest “trick or treat” NFL teams for the rest of the season.
Jay and Drew kick things off by looking at their “treat” teams, or the ones they think are viable to make some noise for the rest of the season. Jay loves the New Orleans Saints with a winnable schedule and unintimidating division to potentially sneak away with the NFC South Crown (+550). Drew is on the San Francisco 49ers for the remainder of the year with a to win NFC (+650) thanks to one of the best rosters in football. The duo also highlight their “trick” teams in the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons. The dynamic duo then shift to breaking down the Bengals-Browns game. Jay and Drew both believe it should be relatively clear skies and no squalls for Cincy this evening, as they face a porous Browns’ run defense.
The program concludes by checking out the Eastern and Western Conferences in the Association. Jay checks in on if the Brooklyn Nets (+400) or Miami Heat (-130) will have enough juice to win their respective divisions, or if there are any predators waiting in the wings. Drew discusses his disgust with the aging LA Clippers, and what their slow start means for the rest of the conference.
Bet the Edge will highlighting several more pivotal matchups throughout the week!
