Darius Bazley O/U 9.5 Points vs. Pelicans

We are back to fading Darius Bazley of the Thunder.

The Pelicans provide a positive matchup for an Under here as Bazley strung a few strong performances together.

Bazley scored nine and 10 points in the past two games after dropping 15 against the Raptors. His line is back to 10.5 and worth a bet on the Under.

On the season, Bazley has scored 10 or fewer points in 18 out of 26 games (69%) and 14 of the previous 15 (93.3%), per NBC’s player prop model.

Darius Bazley hit rate

Per NBC’s model, Bazley is projected to score 9.3 points, hitting the Under.

The Pelicans allow the fewest points per game to opposing power forwards (17.85). Bazley would have to score more than half of what New Orleans usually allows to power forwards in order to hit the Over 10.5 points.

Bazley projection

Bazley projection

The Pelicans are back to being healthy with Brandon Ingram, Jonas Valanciunas, Josh Hart and Herbert Jones -- New Orleans has some defensive stoppers.

Bazley is 6-of-15 (40%) from the field in the past two games and 15-of-29 (41.3%) in the past five games he has scored 10 or fewer points.

New Orleans also ranks 8th and 12th in field goal percentage and three-point percentage to opponents over the past five games.

I like the chances Bazley scores 10 or fewer points and would play this at down to 9.5 points.

Pick: Darius Bazley Under 9.5 Points (1u)
