Tyrese Haliburton O/U 31.5 Points + Assists vs. Kings

Let’s run it back on our guy Tyrese Haliburton!

Haliburton leads the NBA with 11.3 assists per game and 21.8 potential assists per game. The Pacers point guard is 4-2 to the Over in his last six games with 14-plus assists in five of those contests.

In an earlier meeting this season, the former Kings guard had 13 points and 15 assists for 28 P+A. Haliburton is coming off 24 points and 14 assists against the Lakers after struggling with his shot for a few nights.

Haliburton shot below 50% in four-straight games but attempted 16 and 22 field goal attempts in the past two outings. His 22 field goal attempts versus the Lakers was a season-high, so that is great news entering this matchup.

Haliburton has 39 points and 25 assists in this short two-game road trip so far and if he does half of that here, he will be right around this Over.

The Kings are one of the best matchups for a point guard and Haliburton has motivation to ball out. Give me Haliburton Over 31.5 Points + Assists at -120 odds.

Pick: Tyrese Haliburton Over 31.5 Points + Assists (1u)

D’Angelo Russell Over 17.5 Points vs. Grizzlies

No Karl-Anthony Towns (calf injury) means D’Angelo Russell is live once again versus Memphis.

In the last meeting with the Grizzlies, D-Lo scored four points in 27 minutes, breaking a 10-game streak of 18 or more points versus Memphis, per statmuse. Now is the perfect time to hop back on this train.

D-Lo vs Memphis

D-Lo vs Memphis

D-Lo scored at least 15 points in four-straight games and posted 17 in his previous game on 15 field goal attempts.

I expect a similar usage rate versus a Grizzlies team that ranks 20th in defensive net rating and 27th on the road.

I grabbed D-Lo Over 17.5 Points at -115 odds. I also like his Over assists tonight.

Pick: D’Angelo Russell Over 17.5 Points (1u)

Wizards at Nets (-5.5): O/U 229.0

Washington hosted Brooklyn earlier in the season and lost that game 128-96, now the Wizards can return the favor.

Brooklyn, as we know, is terrible ATS as a home favorite. The Nets are 10-31 ATS (24.3%) since the start of 2021, per NBC’s Edge Finder. As a home favorite this year, Brooklyn is 4-5 ATS.

Nets as home fav

Nets as home fav

While Washington is 3-4-1 ATS as a road underdog and 0-2-1 ATS in the past three, those outings came versus red-hot Boston and twice against Miami. The Wizards will faced a Nets team that has been on-and-off when it comes to playing defense and rebounding.

The Nets are 15th and 16th at home in offensive and defensive net rating, while Washington is 14th and 19th on the road. This game should be close and the Wizards will be live to win this game outright after a 15-point win at home over the Timberwolves.

I played the Wizards at +5.5 for -110 odds on BetMGM. I would play the +5.

Pick: Wizards +5.5 (1u)

OTHER NOTES

Pacers at Kings (-4.5): O/U 241.5

We will likely be betting the Kings -4.5 tonight. Indiana is coming off a game-winner versus the L.A. Lakers and as exciting as that win was, this is a letdown spot for the Pacers as they continue this road trip.

I will have to determine whether the 1H or full-game is the best bet for this Kings game, as Indiana is scrappy.
