Vaughn Dalzell breaks down how to bet Game 2 of the Los Angeles Lakers versus Memphis Grizzlies series.

Lakers (-1) at Grizzlies: O/U 226.5

The Lakers ended Game 1 on a 15-0 run to win 128-112 thanks to Rui Hachiurma and Austin Reaves who combined to score 52 points on 19-of-27 from the field (70.3%), 8-of-11 from three (72.7%) and 6-for-6 from the free-throw line (100%).

As amazing as that was to witness, I don’t expect the Lakers’ role players to set career-highs in Game 2.

Anthony Davis was injured before the half and came back in for the third quarter, while Ja Morant exited in the fourth quarter and did not return. Morant is day-to-day but doubtful for Game 2, which is why the Lakers are the favorites.

Over the past two seasons, Memphis is 4-3 at home in the playoffs, losing Game 1 all three times.

Outside of Game 1’s, Memphis is 4-0 at home in the postseason, including 2-0 in Game 2’s. The Grizzlies won 124-96 and 106-101 in last season’s Game 2’s at home.

I grabbed Memphis ML at +100 odds and would play the +1 if you want the point. If Morant is ruled out, that does not impact this bet for me.

I don’t expect the line to move much because Vegas likely has Morant’s injury baked into this line, but you could wait and potentially get a better number.

Pick: Grizzlies ML (1u)
