UFC 272 has a fantastic matchup in the main event between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal. Colby and Jorge have been entertaining fight fans all week with trash talk in interviews, the press conference, and the faceoff. In my main event preview article, I suggested using Colby in parlays. In this article, I will highlight the value I found on a few other fights on this card. I picked four prop bets with plus money odds attached to them. Follow me on Twitter @CombatSportsNBC for my tracked bets. Feel free to DM me if you want my picks for any fight on the card and my thoughts on any other props or parlays you’re interested in playing.
*** Fight: Dustin Jacoby vs Michal Oleksiejczuk
** Prop Play: Dustin Jacoby Round 3 or Decision (+185) on Pointsbet
Analysis: This is a great fight to start this card off! Dustin Jacoby is a talented kick boxer and a volume striker. Michal Oleksiejczuk presses forward and strikes with his opponents. Oleksiejczuk fights with the mentality to “kill or be killed” as he enters the pocket to exchange blows and closes distance. Oleksiejczuk’s style plays into Jacoby’s strength. Dustin Jacoby will have plenty of opportunities to counter strike and he will put Oleksiejczuk out in one of those exchanges late in the fight when Oleksiejczuk begins to gas.
*** Fight: Jalin Turner vs Jamie Mullarkey
** Prop Play: Jalin Turner by KO/TKO (+250) on Pointsbet
Analysis: Jalin Turner is big, long and southpaw. He covers a lot of distance and strikes with volume. Jamie Mullarkey will try and mix in takedowns to control pace. Mullarkey is very hittable, he absorbs 4.45 strikes per minute. Jalin Turner lands 6.2 strikes per minute and his power left hand should find its mark for the finish here.
Who’s win streak will go? 🤔@JalinTurner faces @Jamie_Mullarkey tomorrow night!

*** Fight: Kevin Holland vs Alex Oliveira
** Prop Play: Kevin Holland/Under 2.5 Rounds (+118) on Pointsbet
Analysis: Kevin Holland drops down to 170 pounds and I am excited about that. He is a quality striker with power. His kryptonite has been his takedown defense and getting up off his back. He has worked on his wrestling, grappling and BJJ skills extensively. Alex Oliveira will test the grappling of Kevin Holland but Oliveira is at a severe disadvantage on the feet. Holland keeps this fight standing, exhausts Oliveira, and finishes him in round 2 with strikes.
Kevin Holland 6’3” with a 81’ reach.

Alex Oleviera 5’11” with a 76.5’ reach.
I don’t think wrestling will be the main theme in this fight. #MMATwitter #GamblingTwitter #UFC #ufc272
*** Fight: Rafael dos Anjos vs Renato Moicano
** Prop Play: Rafael dos Anjos by KO/TKO (+330) on Pointsbet
Analysis: This is a risky play since Rafael dos Anjos has not knocked anyone out since 2016 vs Eddie Alvarez. Renato Moicano fought two weeks ago vs Alexander Hernandez. He has performed well recently in fights where he is able to grapple, earn top control, and use his BJJ finishing ability. I do not believe he will be able to have that type of grappling success in this matchup vs Rafael dos Anjos. Moicano has been hurt on the feet in recent fights with strikes such as Rafael Fiziev, Korean Zombie, and Jose Aldo. At these odds, I am willing to take a swing at Rafael dos Anjos by KO/TKO. This is a five round fight and there will be exchanges on the feet.
