Vaughn Dalzell shares his best bet for the Toronto Blue Jays versus Chicago White Sox.
White Sox (+154) at Blue Jays (-184): O/U 9.5
The Blue Jays have won three-straight games and the White Sox have lost six-consecutive, so these teams are trending in opposite directions. Plus, Toronto is 6-2 at home, while Chicago is 4-11 on the road.
Toronto is 4-0 in Yusei Kikuchi‘s starts with a 27-15 run differential. Kikuchi himself is 3-0 with a 3.80 ERA, along with 20 strikeouts to six walks. However, Kikuchi continues to struggle with home runs allowed.
Kikuchi has given up at least one in every game this season and has six overall. The White Sox batters are hitting .216 versus LHP (24th) and 43 strikeouts to 18 walks over 167 at-bats, so I doubt they do well versus Kikuchi.
Michael Kopech owns a 0-2 record with a 6.97 ERA and 1.742 WHIP through four starts, so he’s really been struggling on the mound. Chicago is 1-3 in his four starts and Toronto’s hitters own a .321 BA against Kopech and a 12.5 K%.
I played the juicy ML of -184 for some afternoon action and just risked 1 unit.
Pick: Blue Jays ML (Risk 1u)
