With Masters week in full swing, there are dozens of wagering possibilities for the year’s final major. Futures bets and top-10 finishes may pay the bills and pad the account, but this week those offerings get a serious shot in the arm.
Yes, it’s time to talk props.
With only 92 players in the field, oddsmakers at PointsBet Sportsbook have created a number of finish position wagers for each player (everything from odds to win to missing the cut), not to mention group betting. Want to take a stab at who will be the low Masters debutant? PGA champ Collin Morikawa tops a group of 26 rookies at +500, followed by U.S. Open runner-up Matthew Wolff at +600. What about top past champion? Two-time winner Bubba Watson (+400) leads the way, followed by each of the last two champs, Patrick Reed and Tiger Woods, both at +500.

But there are also some more creative props designed around two of the biggest names using PointsBet’s Name A Bet option. Woods is getting plenty of (deserved) attention this week as defending champ, while Bryson DeChambeau is the top storyline as fans and peers alike try to guess how much damage his rocket-launching driver will inflict on the game’s most familiar venue.
Here’s a look at some of the DeChambeau-specific distance prop bets available:

DeChambeau will surely challenge those driving yardage totals, especially on the downhill second hole and dogleg 13th where he is expected to try to cut the corner depending on conditions. But the line that most stands out is the eagle prop, as the number opened at +160 Tuesday and was quickly bet down. Given 16 cracks at Augusta National’s par-5 holes (assuming a made cut) with potentially as little as a wedge in hand for his second shot, the likelihood of DeChambeau writing down at least one eagle seems particularly high.
There are also specific markets for Woods, who returns after slipping into his fifth green jacket last year:
Total birdies or better: Over 13.5 (-115), Under 13.5 (-115)
Total bogeys or worse: Over 10.5 (-115), Under 10.5 (-115)
Will he hit the opening fairway: Yes -145
The scorecard handicap must account for the cut line, which will trim the field to top 50 and ties and this year won’t include the 10-shot rule. If you like the over on 10.5 bogeys or worse, does Tiger play well enough to make the cut? Otherwise he could be well on pace to hit the over but run out of holes. Also the fairway prop has an added wrinkle, with Woods going off the 10th tee Thursday as part of the tournament’s split-tee system to account for reduced daylight. Woods notoriously struggles with his opening tee shot in majors but may have an easier time flighting a draw down the hill at No. 10 than squeezing an uphill fade on No. 1.
There’s also an Amen Corner prop for the most famous stretch at Augusta National: the par-4 11th, par-3 12th and par-5 13th. The line for total eagles made by the field on those three holes for the week is set at 8.5 (Over -115, Under -115).
But there will be some added cross-sport attention this week, as golf will share the stage with football on Saturday in more ways than one. A full slate of action will cause viewers to make some difficult channel choices, but there will also be some on-site presence as ESPN’s College Gameday sets up shop at Augusta National’s Par-3 Course, a short walk from the 10th tee.
