The Warriors own the rights to the Minnesota Timberwolves' 2021 top-three protected first-round pick (which becomes unprotected in 2022 if it does not convey this year).
And the T-Wolves enter the NBA draft lottery -- scheduled for June 22 -- with the sixth-best odds of landing the No. 1 overall selection.

In 2019, the Washington Wizards ended up with the No. 9 pick which ended up being Rui Hachimura. In 2020, the New York Knicks ended up with the No. 8 pick which they used to select Obi Toppin.

So the lottery was very unkind to the Wizards, but pretty in line with what was expected for the Knicks.
We only are including the last two years because the NBA implemented new lottery odds in 2019.
Ultimately, the dream result for the Warriors is landing the No. 4 overall pick. So if you're a Golden State fan, talk that 9.62 percent chance into existence.
