It helps to have the greatest shooter of all time as a teammate -- just ask Jordan Poole.
Speaking with NBC Sports Bay Area's Kerith Burke on the latest episode of "Dubs Talk," Poole explained that he asks Steph Curry questions "all the time, 24/7" and learns from the four-time NBA champion.
"Luckily, I'm in the situation where he has taken me under his wing and kind of like being his rook, his young guy," Poole told Burke. "And following in his footsteps is dope because you can kind of tell that he wants to finally give some of these things away, something he can help in ways that he can help.

"Yeah, I just grill him with questions all the time."
The 23-year-old Poole added he knows that he is a great shooter and has confidence in himself. However, there are moments when even Poole's supreme belief can't cause shots to fall.
At that point, Poole turned to Curry for his counsel on what he should do in order to break out of his early-season slump.
"I think not too long ago, there was a stretch where I was not making the volume of 3s that I wanted to make," Poole said. "So I just went over there and I asked him, 'Like, what is it? What do you do? Is there anything you change, routine-wise?' "

Although Poole didn't disclose what Curry told him, he did say that it was a "good conversation" and they were able to work things out in practice to get his mind right.
The following game after Poole and Curry's conversation -- Dec. 2 against the Chicago Bulls -- Poole hit seven 3-pointers in the Warriors' 119-111 win.
"Just being able to be a part of that and ask him that and apply it and just see where his mental is, like that's what I mean by having the sense to apply not only to your life, but hooping as well and he's a really awesome example," Poole concluded.
Although the Warriors have gotten off to a mediocre start to the 2022-23 NBA season, Poole slowly is returning to form.

So far in December, entering Tuesday's game, Poole is averaging 26.0 points, 4.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game, shooting 47.8 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from 3-point land in 30.5 minutes a game.
With his season slowly coming together, Poole has to be glad to have Curry as his teammate to help him work through his shooting issues because who better to help than the greatest shooter of all time?
