Watch Steph Curry's 3-point dagger in Warriors' Game 1 win vs. Rockets

Steph Curry had an up-and-down Game 1 against the Rockets, scoring just 18 points in 37 minutes while in foul trouble throughout Sunday's NBA playoff contest.

It ended on one heck of an upswing, though.

Curry made the biggest shot of the second-round series opener, drilling a clutch 3-pointer from the wing over Houston big man Nene's outstretched hands to give the Warriors a five-point lead with 24.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

That proved to be the decisive basket for Golden State, which defeated Houston 104-100 at Oracle Arena.

Curry has been the target of plenty of criticism throughout his career -- completely undeserved, mind you -- for his so-called failure to come up big in big moments.

His Game 1 dagger ought to quiet that noise for awhile.
