Watch Klay Thompson put dagger in Rockets' season with huge 3-pointer

Stop me if you've heard this before: Klay Thompson had a big Game 6.

The Warriors star scored 27 points Friday night at Toyota Center, as Golden State ended the Houston Rockets' season with a 118-113 win. Of those points, his final three of the NBA playoff second-round series arguably were the most definitive.

The Rockets trailed by just three in the final minute, but Thompson doubled that deficit with a dagger from behind the arc.

Draymond Green had a wide-open look from just in front of the restricted area, but instead, he kicked it out to Andre Iguodala. The veteran forward swung the ball to Thompson, and the rest was history.

Thompson has saved some of his best work for Game 6s. In Game 6 of last year's Western Conference finals, Thompson scored 35 points on 13-of-23 shooting (9 of 14 from deep) to help force a decisive Game 7 against the Rockets. He did the same against Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 6 of the 2016 Western Conference finals, leading the Warriors with 41 points.

His 27 points Friday are the third most for Thompson in a Game 6, but his last three all but ensured the Warriors would advance.
