The Warriors' pair of two-way contracts are up for grabs after Quinndary Weatherspoon and Lester Quiñones were waived on Thursday, the team announced.
Quiñones appeared in two games for Golden State this preseason, averaging 5.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 10.0 minutes per game. The 21-year-old guard signed a two-way deal with the Warriors on July 5 after going undrafted out of Memphis.
The Warriors' other two-way guard, Weatherspoon, played in four games this preseason and averaged 4.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 11.2 minutes per game. The 26-year-old appeared in 11 games last season with Golden State, averaging 2.7 points and 1.3 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per game.

Entering his fourth year in the NBA, Weatherspoon signed a two-way contract with the Warriors on July 22.
Teams may have up to two players under two-way contracts, who must spend most of the season in the G League and no more than 45 days with their NBA team.

After parting ways with Weatherspoon and Quiñones, new Warriors additions Pat Spencer and Ty Jerome certainly will be in the mix to grab those spots.
